Oops! Missed your Birthday, Animation.

I was so looking forward to posting about this on April 6th too! And then I didn't. Stupid school.

Anyways, If most of you don't know already, Animation has existed for (now) more than 100 years, starting with James Stuart Blackton's Humorous Phases of Funny Faces. Here's a great post on ASIFA's Animation Archive blog about this (which is what reminded of this landmark in the first place).

Oh yeah, and here's the short itself.

Sorry animation, I won't forget your next big 100. Err... your next birthday. Promise.
